Hantuchova hires Sanchez as coach

Former Top 5 player Daniel Hantuchova has veteran Ricardo Sanchez as her new coach. The 30-year-old Slovak has worked with a slew of coaches over the years, most recently with Eduardo Nicolas. Sanchez has worked with several players, including Caroline Wozniacki and Jelena Jankovic.

“We have known each other for years so the transition has been very natural,” Hantuchova said on Facebook. “I'm looking forward to all the hard work and excited about the work we have already done last week in Spain!”
