Italian captain: Friendship key to Fed Cup titles

Italian Fed Cup captain Corrado Barazzutti reflects on why his team has been able to win four Fed Cup titles since 2006. Sara Errani crushed Russia’s Alisa Kleybanova, 6-1, 6-1 to give Italy an unassailable 3-0 lead in the best-of-five match final in Cagliari on Sunday.

“The players have the right spirit,” Barazzutti said. “The girls like to play for their country, they like to play on the team and they like each other. They are friends, they support each other and that's the secret to the win Fed Cup.”
