Richard Gasquet has hired two-time Roland Garros champion Sergi Bruguera as his new coach, various French outlets are reporting. Gasquet’s former coach, Riccardo Piatti, left his player's side during the ATP World Tour Finals, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family. Gasquet has been working with Sebastian Grosjean on a part-time basis.

Bruguera and his father, Luis, run their own academy in Barcelona.
