Toni Nadal, the uncle and coach of Rafael Nadal, says his nephew will be playing for a historic distinction in 2014.

"The challenge in 2014 will be to win Australia, because it would achieve something only Rod Laver did, which is twice winning the four [Grand Slams],” Toni Nadal told that journalist David Nadal.

Toni also praised world No. 2 Novak Djokovic, saying the Serbian has many qualities he'd like to see in Rafael. Toni Nadal also said that he finds it “outrageous” that his 13-time Grand Slam winning nephew has surpassed 11-time major winner Bjorn Borg, a player Toni had on a pedestal.

"I do not put Rafael on a pedestal because it's my family, although I know that he is one of the best ever," Toni Nadal said.
