Former world No. 7 Nicole Vaidisova denies internet and wire reports saying she has comeback plans. The Czech underwent right shoulder surgery six months ago and is currently rehabbing her shoulder in Bradenton, Florida. Vaidisova tells she no longer owns a tennis racquet and that she won’t even think about stepping on a practice court until after she is fully healed.

The 24-year-old retired nearly four years ago even though she had reached the semifinals of two Grand Slams; she said she had lost her love for the sport. Vaidisova is currently in divorce proceedings with fellow player Radek Stepanek.
