After playing doubles with Sabine Lisicki in Indian Wells, Martina Hingis will again team up with the German in Miami.

The pair lost in the first round of Indian Wells to the Australian team of Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua, but Hingis said afterward she was happy with their performance.

The five-time Grand Slam champion attempted a comeback in doubles with Daniela Hantuchova last year but only played a handful of tournaments with limited success.

"I haven’t played in seven years until last year, and then I hadn’t played for six months,” said Hingis. “With Sabine, it was fun."

Hinigis, who is also coaching Lisicki, said, "I was excited when she asked me to play doubles."
