The Party Rock Open women's Challenger tournament will no longer be held because of funding issues.

The tournament had been sponsored by singer Redfoo, who is also Victoria Azarenka's boyfriend, for the past two years.

It also struggled to attract crowds to the Darling Tennis Center, which also held the ATP Las Vegas event from 2006 to 2008.

"Redfoo said he wanted to stay involved, but he didn't want to make a financial commitment," tournament co-promoter Jordan Butler told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"And when we couldn't find another title sponsor, we decided not to play.

"Mostly, it was a financial decision," Butler added. "We needed to raise more sponsorships and get more people in the stands. We were able to do that on the weekends but attendance during the week was always a challenge.

"We tried to make it affordable and fun, but it's still a business, and we were barely breaking even after five years."
