Horrifying news out of Tampa: A home owned by retired player James Blake was consumed by fire, and three bodies were found inside. Even worse: Foul play looks to be involved, as fireworks were strapped to the heads of the deceased.

Per Deadspin, Blake purchased the home, a mansion, in 2005 for $1.5 million. He has been renting it out, and a spokesman from his James Blake Foundation reported to a local TV station that Blake was not present at the time of the fire.

Fellow retired American Chanda Rubin suffered a house fire in December 2010.

UPDATE: By day's end, it had been confirmed that four were found dead at the scene.
