Video: Krajicek wins match, gets engaged

It was a doubly eventful day for Michaella Krajicek at the 's-Hertogenbosch grass-court tournament in her home nation. First, the Dutchwoman beat Jana Cepelova in three sets, then was surprised to find her boyfriend, German doubles player Martin Emmrich, on court. He proceeded to address her as "Bambi" and get down on one knee to propose marriage. See the clip here:

Krajicek accepted his offer (thank goodness), and the rest will soon be tandem tennis history. The couple intends to compete in Wimbledon's mixed doubles draw later this month.

Their premarital bliss arrives after the weekend's news that Victoria Azarenka, returning this week to action at the Eastbourne event, is no longer dating pop singer Redfoo.
