Ana Ivanovic will begin working with Dejan Petrovic as her new coach, her official web site announced.

The former No. 1 ended her coaching relationship with Nemanja Kontic following Wimbledon, despite a successful season in which she has won three titles and defeated Serena Williams at the Australian Open.

Ivanovic has chosen to work with another Serbian coach, however, having frequently said that she was having better results because she was more comfortable with her new Serbian team.

Petrovic, a former pro who has worked with Novak Djokovic and Jelena Jankovic, runs a tennis academy in Serbia. The two will begin working together on a trial basis at Stanford.
