In Denver for golf's BMW Championship, Rory McIlroy, engaged to Caroline Wozniacki until he broke it off over the phone earlier this year, appeared to mimic his one-time fiancée's fleeting early-round follicle issue at the U.S. Open. Footage shows McIlroy over the weekend in a PGA Tour circle-up with pal Sergio Garcia, and each feigns holding something in his fists and tugging. It's not difficult to imagine what catalyzed their chuckles:

By the way, Garcia famously dated Martina Hingis, who lost in the U.S. Open women's doubles final, her first appearance in a Grand Slam final since 2002. Meanwhile, in Denver, Garcia finished in a four-way tie for fourth at the BMW event, and McIlroy rounded out his play tied with two other pros for eighth place. (I'd say Wozniacki and Hingis win this week.)

But if living well is the best revenge—and it is, as it hurts no one—then Wozniacki won't even be bothered by the frat-boy display put on by her former fiancé and his crony. Why? Because she partied after her U.S. Open championship loss to Serena Williams with ... Serena Williams. And Joe Jonas and IMG model Gigi Hadid. Here's the evidence:

Serena spoke before this U.S. Open commenced about how Wozniacki's example has prompted her to be a bigger person as relationships go, based on the great Dane's complete lack of negative words about her ex. Wozniacki, in turn, said after acquiescing to Serena in the women's final, the younger Williams sister's 18th major singles championship, that the victor owed her drinks later.

Needless to say, they made good on that pact. After these weekend episodes, the Spins sees the math like this: Wozniacki > McIlroy, in more ways than one.
