ITF report: Vaidisova to return with challenger wild card

Nicole Vaidisova could be set to begin her comeback in two weeks, with the ITF saying the 25-year-old Czech has received a wild card into the $75,000 Albuquerque ITF Pro Circuit event.

The former world No. 7 already posted a photo of herself on the courts in July, saying she could "see progress."

However, she had not given any date for a return.

Vaidisova retired at age 20 following a slide down the rankings and married fellow pro Radek Stepanek. The two were divorced a year ago.
