A Serbian media report has it that Novak Djokovic's wife Jelena Ristic has given birth to a baby boy. The couple announced Ristic's pregnancy in April and married in July after he beat Roger Federer to win Wimbledon.

Mother and child are said to be feeling quite well after a delivery without complications. Djokovic's parents, Srdjan and Diana, apparently organized a "modest" celebration at the restaurant Novak, named for their son, in New Belgrade, a municipality in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. Ristic's parents, Miomir and Vera, are thought to be with their daughter and the main men in her life in Nice, France, where she gave birth.

If the news of baby joy is true, it'll be a quick turnaround for Djokovic to contest the ATP World Tour Finals in London, which begins on November 9. Djokovic remains the No. 1 player in men's tennis, with Federer about 1,000 points behind him and casting a shadow on the tour's penthouse door.

UPDATE: Ana Ivanovic, a reliable source as any, congratulates the couple on the arrival:
