Novak Djokovic says he should not have allowed the crowd to affect him during his three-set win over Kei Nishikori in the semifinals of the ATP World Tour Finals.

With Djokovic up 6-1, 1-0 during a week of uncompetitive singles matches, the fans in the O2 Arena were backing Nishikori, even applauding a double fault from Djokovic as he was broken back in the next game. Djokovic sarcastically applauded the crowd, and went on to drop the set before rebounding in the third.

"It was my fault. It was my fault that I allowed it," Djokovic told the press following the 6-1, 3-6, 6-0 match, but added that some spectators had gone too far. "I cannot blame the crowd. The crowd has a right to do what they want, to cheer for whoever they want. Some individuals that were going over the line throughout the whole match, some provocations that I usually don't react on, but I did. It was my fault."

However, Djokovic said he would learn from the experience, adding, "I just was not happy with the way that has influenced me and my game after that. But, you know, when you tolerate once, twice, three times, four times, we're all humans, you react. But it's the way it is."

In addition, the Serb refused to explain his unusual signing of the camera following the match:
