Petkovic returning to father as coach

The German eventually plans to appoint another coach.

Andrea Petkovic is no longer working with Eric van Harpen and will instead be coached by her father.

The 27-year-old German, who started with van Harpen this season and reached the French Open semifinals, will only have her father with her at some tournaments.

"He will not go the full 40 weeks of tournaments during the year with me. But he just knows me well and I know what I have to do, so I play my best tennis," she said.

Petkovic eventually plans to appoint another coach.
