Eugenie Bouchard has withdrawn from Monterrey with an arm injury, tournament organizers said. The 21-year-old Canadian also withdrew from Dubai two weeks ago and fell in her opening match at Antwerp the previous week.
Bouchard, who reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, would have been the second seed at the event. Jelena Jankovic is also not playing because of injury. Ana Ivanovic, ranked No. 6 is the top seed.
