The long line-up of comebacks at Monte Carlo has been postponed, with Juan Martin del Potro, Nick Kyrgios, and Richard Gasquet all withdrawing from the tournament.

According to local press, all three have delayed resuming competition as they attempt to fully heal their injuries. Del Potro, who played Miami in his first tournament since having another wrist procedure, had said he would like his next event to be either Monte Carlo or the following week. The Argentine appears to have chosen to take a few extra days, having said that his wrist is still not completely pain-free when he plays.

Kyrgios has not played since he rolled his ankle at Indian Wells, but he has been training in Australia. Gasquet, who retired at Indian Wells, has been diagnozed with a chronic back problem. Both are now scheduled to play the following week at Barcelona, where del Potro could also join them.
