Simona Halep received a death threat during Stuttgart. According to AFP, the Stuttgart tournament organizers said she had to have more security.
Apparently, some Danish fans on twitter threatened her before Caroline Wozniacki faced the Romanian in their semifinal match. "I can't comment on it. I am here to play tennis. Other people will take care of it," Halep told the media.
Wozniacki beat Halep in three sets in the semifinal.
