ESTORIL, Portugal (AP) Dutchman Robin Haase saved two match points as he came from behind to beat top-seeded Feliciano Lopez of Spain 4-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4 in the second round of the Estoril Open on Wednesday.

Lopez, who had a bye in the first round, hit 10 aces on the clay court but was broken four times by Haase.

''It's always nice to win, but if it's a win like that, to beat someone who is world No. 12, it's an even better feeling,'' Haase said.

Haase will face a quarterfinal against seventh-seeded Nick Kyrgios after the Australian beat Filip Krajinovic 6-3, 6-3.

Nicolas Almagro also advanced to the final eight by beating fourth-seeded Leonardo Mayer 7-6 (4), 6-2, with the Spaniard hitting seven aces.

Almagro will play fifth-seeded Richard Gasquet after he brushed aside qualifier Kenny de Schepper 6-2, 6-3.
