Bernard Tomic says he is not interested in mending relations with Tennis Australia while it is witholding funding for his 17-year-old sister.

"Until I am satisfied TA is committed to funding the development of junior Australian talent, including my sister Sara, on a non-discriminatory basis, I do not believe there is any point in meeting," he told *News Corp*.

Tomic's father, John, complained before Wimbledon that his daughter, Sara, was not receiving funding from Tennis Australia, with development chief Patrick Rafter responding that the federation was no longer financing families who consistently and vocally criticized it. Tomic then delivered a lengthy and stinging criticism of Tennis Australia officials following his defeat at Wimbledon, for which he was suspended from the Davis Cup team.

Tennis Australia officials had expressed a desire to get Tomic back on the team, if the two sides could meet and settle their differences.

Tomic said he would like to keep playing Davis Cup if selected, but would not back down from his comments.

"It is my honor and privilege to do so. I consider that I have a good record and it is my hope to continue to represent my country," he said. "Importantly, I would like to thank TA administrators for their financial support in the past. Current TA administrators sacked me from the Davis Cup for comments I made at Wimbledon. I stand by those comments."

Tomic was speaking from the ATP event in Bogota.
