Andy Murray says that Amelie Mauresmo is likely to return as his coach during the offseason and could begin traveling with him next season.

Mauresmo, pregnant with her first child, took leave following Wimbledon.

"We spoke last week about what it is that I feel like I needed from her. We had a good conversation," Murray told a small group of British journalists. "'She’s basically gone away to think about it and said that she’ll get back to me when I’m finished here and we can chat more about it. But I would say it was very positive. I think she wants to continue doing it. It obviously has to work for both, but I’m pretty positive about it."

Murray has been coached by Jonas Bjorkman lately, and plans to keep working with the Swede at tournaments Mauresmo does not attend. But he does not want to use both coaches at the same time, saying, "I’m not having two coaches at the one tournament. I’ve done that in the past and haven’t found that to be beneficial really."

Murray won Montreal on the same day that Mauresmo gave birth, but he fell in the fourth round of the U.S. Open to Kevin Anderson. This week the world No. 2 has advanced to the quarterfinals of Shanghai.
