Roger Federer says he does not have a specific amount of titles he would like to win.

The ATP record for most titles is 109 tournaments won by Jimmy Connors. Federer has 88 titles with a victory in his hometown of Basel a week ago. The world No. 2, who was born on August 8, has a special affinity with the number eight and specifically, 88.

"I've already been asked if I want to get to Jimmy Connors and 109 titles, and the answer is no. I don't even have the goal to get to 100 titles. I just like playing tennis, and to be honest, 88 is my favorite number," said Federer in Paris, where fell to John Isner in the third round.
