KATOWICE, Poland (AP) Fifth-seeded Camila Giorgi of Italy and eighth-seeded Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia advanced to the Katowice Open final on Saturday.

Giorgi, who seeks her second WTA title, has won both of their previous encounters.

In the semifinals, Giorgi beat third-seeded Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia 6-4, 6-3 to play in her third straight Katowice final.

Cibulkova dispatched Pauline Parmentier 7-5, 6-0 to improve to 4-1 against the unseeded French player.

She hopes to win her fifth WTA title on Sunday.
