Lin-Manuel Miranda is a lot of things: "Hamilton" **creator, Broadway star, erstwhile high-school teacher.

He's also an "avid tennis fan," as evidenced by a wide-ranging new "By the Book" Q&A with *The New York Times*. Therein, Miranda addressed his love affair with reads involving a couple of tennis stars. He relished “Open,” Andre Agassi's "astounding" autobiography co-written with J.R. Moehringer, as well as "Roger Federer as Religious Experience," David Foster Wallace's ballyhooed essay,

"Once I've spent some time in someone else's life, it's hard to shake,” Miranda says.

Funny, because many would like to spend some time in his world—not just for his "Hamilton" **star turn (though, yes, especially that), but also for his celebrity gazing and general gushing at the 2015 U.S. Open.

The Billie Jean King National Tennis Center will no doubt welcome Miranda back with open arms come August and September. After all, Alexander Hamilton isn't about to throw away his shot.
