Former No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki is making a late-season run up the rankings, adding the Pan Pacific Open title to her semifinal showing at the U.S. Open.

The 26-year-old was ranked No. 74 going into Flushing Meadows, after a recent coaching change and injuries to her ankle and wrist. She is now up to No. 23, and has gone 10-1 since beginning her turnaround. Before that, she had not won back-to-back matches in nine events.

Wozniacki has also scored her first Top 10 wins of the season during her two most recent tournaments—she defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova and Madison Keys at the U.S. Open, and Carla Suarez Navarro and Agnieszka Radwanska in Tokyo.
