Novak Djokovic will not be looking for a new coach to fill the position vacated by Boris Becker.

According to Serbian and British reports, Djokovic will retain longtime coach Marian Vajda in a sole coaching position as he begins the season. Britain’s The Times said a spokesperson for Djokovic had confirmed he is not currently looking to work with anyone else.

Becker was Djokovic's top traveling coach for three years, with the pair winning half a dozen Slams during their partnership. A week ago, Djokovic confirmed weeks of speculation that they would stop working together, setting off more speculation about who would assume the role. Djokovic had recently also had former player and academy owner Pepe Imaz in his box, and Serbian newspaper Telegraf said he was considering doubles player Nenad Zimonjic as his new coach.

The Serb also put up a photo of "Team Djokovic" on Facebook, showing no additions.

Djokovic dropped to No. 2 in early November. He won just one title and reached two finals in the second half of the season following a dominant stretch that saw him win four straight majors.

Andy Murray is the current No. 1 in the rankings.
