Roger Federer is finding his game following an injury layoff, according to Lucas Pouille, his recent training partner.

No. 15-ranked Pouille, also doing his offseason training in Dubai, was invited to hit with Federer at his training base this week.

"It's been some time since he's practicing again, so he is in good form and playing better and better," Pouille told French newspaper *Le Parisien*. "When his play is good, he is very aggressive; moves with a lot of speed and is tough to move around."

Federer has not played since Wimbledon. After the tournament, he decided to extend his rehab from knee surgery.
