Steve Darcis has withdrawn from Delray Beach because his daughter is having surgery next week, according to Belgian reports.

Darcis has a 3-year-old daughter, Camille, and did not play his scheduled quarterfinal at the ATP event for "family reasons."

Darcis' father, writing on social media, said it was an "important" procedure, and had been "planned for a long while." Darcis would be off the tour for two or three weeks, he indicated.

Darcis was playing his fourth week in a row, having also competed in Davis Cup, Sofia and Memphis.
