Bethanie Mattek Sands' gruesome knee injury, and her painful reaction to it, was difficult to watch. Since then, players and fans have showered the American with support—and have eagerly been awaiting an update on her health.

On Saturday morning, two days after the 32-year-old slipped and fell on Court 17 at the All England Club, Mattek-Sands went on Facebook Live to discuss what's next. The American revealed that she dislocated her right patella and ruptured her patella tendon, and that it will require surgery. She will fly to New York City on Sunday.
