Tennis Channel will provide live coverage of the 2017 International Tennis Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Newport, R.I., on Saturday, July 22, beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET. American star Andy Roddick, former world No. 1 and US Open champion, will receive the highest honor in tennis when he formally takes his place among the greatest players of all time. Following the ceremony on Tennis Channel, viewers can watch the action on-demand on Tennis Channel Plus, the network’s digital subscription service.

Roddick will be joined in the Hall of Fame Class of 2017 by former World No. 1 and three-time US Open champion Kim Clijsters and four-time Paralympic wheelchair tennis medalist Monique Kalkman-van den Bosch. Tennis historian, journalist and Tennis Channel reporter Steve Flink will be inducted in the contributor category, as will groundbreaking tennis instructor Vic Braden.

Roddick, who retired from tennis five years ago, won the US Open in 2003 and played in another four major singles finals. He captured 32 singles titles during his 12-year career, including five ATP World Tour Masters 1000 crowns. Roddick was a fixture of the U.S. Davis Cup roster as well, representing the country from 2001-11.

In addition to televising the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony this weekend, Tennis Channel will provide live coverage of the Dell Technologies Hall of Fame Open quarterfinals, semifinals and final (schedule below).
