Madison Keys has withdrawn from the WTA tournament in Beijing with the return of wrist problems.

Keys, who has had two wrist surgeries, experienced more issues during her first-round loss in Wuhan, China.

Keys also indicated she could change her tournament schedule further if the injury keeps bothering her. She is scheduled to play Luxembourg, then either the WTA Finals or WTA Elite Trophy, and the Fed Cup final.

Keys is No. 11 in the rankings.
