The WTA has announced that Simona Halep, Karolina Pliskova, Elina Svitolina and Venus Williams have qualified for the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global.

The eight-woman, round-robin tournament will be held from October 22-29, when one winner will take home the Billie Jean King Trophy.

Garbine Muguruza had already secured her spot in the singles field, which is something that tends to happen when you’re No. 1 in the world.

For Halep, this will be her fourth straight trip to the WTA Finals. A former finalist at the WTA Finals, Halep won her 15th career WTA singles title at the Mutua Madrid Open in May.

Pliskova will be making her second straight appearance at the WTA Finals. She has won three singles titles this year, which helped her to reach the No. 1 ranking earlier in the season.

Svitolina leads the WTA tour with five singles titles this year and she will be making her first-ever appearance at the WTA Finals in October. Svitolina earned a spot in the WTA Top 5 this season for the first time in her career.

And as for Williams, this will be her fifth appearance at the WTA Finals. It will, however, be the first time she’s played the season-ending championship in Singapore, after previous appearances in New York City, Los Angeles and Doha.

The 37-year-old has had a remarkable season, reaching the final at both the Australian Open and Wimbledon. It’s also worth noting that Williams won the WTA Finals in Doha back in 2008.

With Muguruza, Halep, Pliskova, Svitolina and Williams having secured berths, there are only three spots remaining in this tournament.
