On October 1st, a gunman sprayed bullets on an outdoor music festival from the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas hotel. Fifty-nine people were killed that evening in the deadliest mass shooting in United States history.

It truly cannot be put into words how horrible it is when something like this happens, but tennis Hall of Famer Andre Agassi, who was born and resides in Las Vegas, felt the need to say something.

In a tribute to the people of Las Vegas, Agassi expressed that “strength isn’t anger” or “rage.” Rather, “strength is unity.” He went on to mention the many strong people that helped those that were affected on that tragic evening:
