Samantha Stosur, who took down over Agnieszka Radwanska in Hong Kong, said that she feels “100 percent” after taking off more than three months due to an injury.

At Roland Garros, when the 33-year-old lost against Jelena Ostapenko, she described her hand as very sore and “really, really painful.”

A former Grand Slam champion, Stosur then returned to Australia and discovered that her right hand had a bone fracture.

"After the French Open I really came to a sudden halt and I didn't hit a ball for about eight weeks which is the longest time I can ever remember not playing,” she told press. “I was really disappointed not to make it back for the US Open and miss that whole US summer which is a time I feel like I can do well.”

Stosur stopped playing in the middle of June, and she came back in September to play at Tokyo.

In her first few tournaments, the No. 43 was shaky, losing early in Tokyo, Guangzhou, Wuhan, and Beijing, where she lost against Ostapenko again. But in Hong Kong this week she is playing better, though it took her a solid month.

"It felt like it took forever. But I feel like it's pretty much 100 percent now,” Stosur said.

"Even when I first started in Tokyo and Guangzhou I was still really tentative with trying to hit my forehand. But now I feel like I can go and practice and not think about it."
