Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has withdrawn from Doha with a wrist injury, organizers announced.

The 32-year-old was scheduled to start his season at the tournament following his Davis Cup victory alongside the rest of the French team a month ago.

The world No. 15 is still entered to play the Australian Open.
