The fine was not published by the WTA, but Pliskova's spokesperson, Michal Hrdlicka of the Czech tennis federation, said the amount was in the four figures, and that Pliskova would also donate the same amount to a charitable effort.
Video of Pliskova's angry on-court reaction grabbed attention, as did the original line call behind it.

Pliskova argued with the umpire about a smash she hit at 5-5 in the third set that called wide by the linesperson but appeared to have been inside the line. Since neither umpire or linesperson could locate a mark, the original call stood, drawing complaints from Pliskova.
The Czech dropped the next point to get broken, and Sakkari then won the match in the next game. Pliskova's coach, Tomas Krupa, also argued with the WTA supervisor about the call.
The WTA tour said it does not typically publish its sanctions against players.
