The third edition of the 2019 Tennis Channel/USTA College Tennis Top 25 Rankings were released on Wednesday, and there are new names at the top of both the men and women’s ranks.

After two weeks of holding down the top spot, Wake Forest has slipped to No. 5. The Demon Deacons were unable to defeat Virginia, which ultimately did them in. The Cavaliers moved from No. 14 to No. 9 with the victory. The biggest fall of anybody in the Top 25 came from USC, which lost to both California and Stanford. The Trojans were No. 3 heading into the week, but they are now No. 12. However, the most important move is Ohio State taking over the top spot. The Buckeyes didn't do anything spectacular, but they held down the fort and are the beneficiaries of Wake Forest's loss. Ohio State hadn't been the top-ranked program since Week 3 of last season.

Stanford is no longer the No. 1 in the women's ranks. That distinction belongs to Georgia, which now finds itself at the top of the polls for the first time in three seasons. The Bulldogs earned a huge victory over North Carolina in the championship of the ITA National Women's Team Indoor Championship in Seattle, and that was more than enough for them to earn their spot here. Outside of that, there wasn't much significant movement in the rankings. NC State is no longer tied at No. 10, as the Wolfpack are now the No. 17. And Texas A&M now finds itself as the No. 25, which is going to be exciting for an Aggies team that was unranked last week.
