Here are some of the most important results you'll find on the ATP tour on Thursday:

Open Sud de France

Denis Shapovalov is through to the quarterfinals in Montpellier. The 19-year-old beat Marcel Granollers in straight sets. Shapovalov has still never won a title on the ATP tour, but he has to be feeling pretty good about his chances here. Second-seeded David Goffin was already eliminated, and the rest of this field isn't exactly special. Pierre-Hugues Herbert is also heading to the quarterfinals after a tough win over Ilya Ivashka. One surprising result saw Marcos Baghdatis upsetting top-seeded Lucas Pouille. Baghdatis is no slouch, but Pouille was coming off of a run to the semifinals in Melbourne. He should have carried some momentum over from the Australian Open, but he looked rather pedestrian in defeat.

Cordoba Open

World No. 81 Jaume Munar upset Marco Cecchinato in a tight three-setter in Argentina. Munar was a popular pick to pull off this win, and it was for good reason. Meanwhile, Pablo Cuevas and Federico Delbonis each advanced to the quarterfinal. And top-seeded Fabio Fognini lost in straight sets against Aljaz Bedene.

Sofia Open

Daniil Medvedev, Gael Monfils, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Fernando Verdasco all advanced to the quarterfinals in Bulgaria. Medvedev was tested by Robin Haase, but he was still able to get the job done. Tsitsipas will face Monfils in an exciting match to determine who reaches the semifinals.
