A rematch of the 2018 final, this blockbuster third-round match on Wednesday will feature two of the games' toughest competitors. Although Wozniacki and Sabalenka have struggled to find their form this season, they remain names that no one will want to see in their draw next week at Wimbledon.

Since reaching the final of Charleston, Wozniacki has been dealing with a nagging back injury, retiring in both Rome and Madrid, before losing in the first round of Roland Garros to world No. 60 Veronica Kudermetova. While Sabalenka has been healthy this season, she appears to have lost the confidence that helped her breakthrough in 2018. The world No. 10 has failed to make it past the third round in ten of her 14 events this year.

Like most Sabalenka matches, it will largely be determined on her racquet. When the Belarusian is playing her best she can hit anyone off the court, and the grass courts should reward her hyper-aggressive game style. Wozniacki will look to counter Sabalenka's power with her signature game, shrinking the court and forcing errors with her incredible defense and improvisational skills.

In the end Wozniacki, will likely put too many balls in play for the error prone Sabalenka. Given Sabalenka's recent form, an upset of Wozniacki would certainly come as a surprise.
