Novak Djokovic cruised into the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the tenth time in 11 years with a routine 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 win over 21-year-old Frenchman Ugo Humbert.

Humbert’s smooth lefty game and effortless shotmaking was on display, but he was simply no match for the rock solid world No. 1.

Humbert elected to take the hyper-aggressive route, as he quickly realized his groundstrokes would not hold up against Djokovic's renowned shots. His lefty forehand funneled too many balls to the Djokovic backhand, a shot the Serb rarely misses. Humbert coughed up 34 unforced errors compared to Djokovic’s stingy 14.

It was a week to remember for Humbert, who reached the second week in his first ever Wimbledon main-draw appearance.

Djokovic will face off against David Goffin on Wednesday in their first ever grass-court meeting. Djokovic owns a 5-1 career head to head advantage over the diminutive Belgian.
