The only tournament that changes locations every year (the tours alternate between Toronto and Montreal), the Rogers Cup gives two sets of fans a taste of top-flight tennis. It’s usually the first tournament back for the top pros after Wimbledon, so there’s also a curiosity factor. That will be amplified this year by the Olympics, which begin two weeks after Canada. With hard courts the stage in Rio, look for everyone—not just the crowd favorite Canadians—to perform their best up north, in both singles and doubles.
